Happy Birthday!!!

So yesterday was my birthday...yeah for me!!!

Tyler got us reservations to a really nice place called The Melting Pot. It's a fondue restaurant and it was excellent! We had some carribean style cheese that they had apples, bread and fresh carrots and califlower to eat with it. Then we had our main course...we picked the mojo style of cooking and it tasted really really good! They have the fondue pot there at your table with the cheese in it at first. Then when you're done with that and your salads, they bring you the fondue pot with the flavored stuff if it to cook your meat and stuff in. The picture is of our main course before we started eating any of it. Boy was it good! You skewer a piece of food on your fondue fork and let it sit in the boiling liquid until it's done and then they have a billion different delicious dipping sauces for you to enjoy.

Then came the best part ever...the dessert. I of course went for the pure milk chocolate. I didn't need any fancy stuff (they had a limited time dessert called bananas foster or something like that so it was white chocolate with some banana stuff and caramel I think in it...) I just wanted the good ol' plain milk chocolate! And it was the best part of the night!!!! Strawberries, rice krispy treats and sponge cake! Oh it was sooo good!!!

Tyler is such a good hubby to me! I'm so glad I was able to share my 23rd birthday with such a wonderful man! Yeah to eternal marriage!!!!!!
