So I love this time of the year. I can't ever get enough of the fall and beginning of winter. October, November and December are the best months ever!!! I love how the weather changes, not that it's as awesome as it is in some parts of the country but here in Tucson, there's a chill in the air from about 6pm to 8am (or later) and it's just beautiful outside!!! Yes...when the temperature is in the 80's it's beautiful. Lowe and I go outside for 30-60 minutes every afternoon that I'm home just because it's so nice outside.
I love to decorate for the holidays too. There are so many things I would like to make and use that I see from Better Homes and Gardens and Martha Stewart Living. I would absolutely love to throw the best Halloween party ever and come December, the best Christmas party white elephant gift game included. But I never seem to have the time (or money) to do these things. Maybe if I start planning now, I'll get to have these next year.

I love the fact that now I can make corn chowder, 15 bean soup, chili and whatever hot meal I want to since I can say "It's cold outside" (I know Ben...temps in the 60s are nothing for you but a big deal to me).
I don't know why but I always just feel so happy and content during this time of the year and always want to do everything related to the holidays that I can! Make luminarias for Halloween, decorate with all sorts of pumpkins and goards for Thanksgiving and crazy decorate with all my nativities for Christmas. If I were to have my way...there'd be a different welcome mat each month (granted I don't even have a normal everyday one currently), I'd have some sort of wreath or other outside door decoration up,

Maybe someday I'll get this all done and my house'll be the perfect seasonal place...someday I'll expand this craziness to the entire year!!!
Also...I've found a ton of yummy pumpkin treat recipes...I can't wait to try them all!!! Woo hoo to October, November and December!!!

ooohh...pumpkin whoopie pies are amazing! We discovered them this summer actually, but they are amazing! I'm excited to eventually have a house to decorate where I can paint the walls!
