Once again it's time for New Year's Resolutions...great things to make and break!!! Woo hoo!!! I know a few years ago I was trying to post every week so I'm going to try it again.
Christmas was loads of fun around here. Lowe was super excited when he got up and realized that Santa had come. He loved opening presents and was a big help to me and Kingston opening our presents. I think his favorite toys were a Finn McMissile (Agent Mr. to Lowe) from Cars 2 and the Wall-E movie. Kingston got a Wilbur the Wildcat pillow pet and a carseat zebra toy that he loves (thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!)
We had Christmas over at my parents house after church with them and than dinner was there as well. Somehow we forgot to make the mashed potatoes during all the food prep but thankfully my parents had potato pearls from the cannery so we were able to have some sort of potatoes! I guess it's better than the turkey not being done or something else happening while preparing food for 24 people!!!
Than, as only a super awesomely close family can do, we passed around a stomach bug for the next three nights...first half the people staying at my parents house got it, than a few more there the next night along with myself and Abram than Lowe got it the next night...while we were driving...so Tyler's truck got a good washing the next day...
We did family pictures the day after Christmas and I am so excited to see the pictures especially since the clothing choice was something Lori and I came up with and were somehow able to talk my dad into: navy blue for the boys and (hot) pink for the girls. It's going to be so cute especially since there are still so many more boys in the family (especially in the immediate family pics and the grandkids pictures). Thanks to the awesome Beka Lowe for doing those!!!
I'm trying to think of anything else that happened over the last week or so but nothing too exciting comes to mind. I will get pictures off of our camera and put them up here in the next day or so. Oh!!! I do remember something awesome...Kingston rolled over from his back to his stomach the other day. He's getting so interactive it's adorable and all I want to do is make him smile and laugh. He's starting to grab toys and anything really and shove them in his mouth. He's drooling all over the place and just wants to munch on everything so we're thinking he's already beginning to teeth...we'll see though! We did weigh him on Christmas also and he's 16.5 pounds...twice his birth weight by 3 months...super cute chunk!!!
Here's to the New Year and I can't wait to continue making memories with my boys.
