Things are still going

Ok…so it’s been a while since I’ve post on here…whoa to school and well, school only! I’ve been doing my preceptorship which consisted of three 12 hour shifts a week with a nurse preceptor. I’m really sad that it’s over because that means I get to go back to being a tech instead of a nurse. I still enjoy being a tech though because I’m still on the same infant and toddler floor and working with all the same people. I just hope there’s a job opening for me there…

Since I’ve been doing school for 5 days a week for the last well, 5 weeks, I haven’t really done anything other than that! Tyler’s just been working. We did go and get a different, bigger truck so that Tyler can have a vehicle to drive little Lowe around in once he comes. It’s an extended cab Nissan Frontier. We both really like it. Surprisingly, we got the little Ranger sold off in like an hour!!! Tyler posted it on Craigs List yesterday and within 5 minutes had someone call to say they were going to come look at it. So they came and bought it right on the spot! Crazy, but we’re thankful for it because now we’re not going to have to worry about it!

I went and registered at Babies R Us and Target this last week with two really good friends of mine (Thanks again Kathie and Heather ;). It was loads of fun except neither of the Babies R Us here in town or online have the lamp that goes with the sheet set I want. I saw the lamp at one of the stores about 2 weeks ago and suddenly it’s not online or in the stores! That makes me really grumpy because it’ll be the only piece to the set that I won’t have. It’s the Sweet Safari set by Just Born. Tyler and I have searched and searched on the internet to try to find the thing but all sites just lead back to the Babies R Us or Toys R Us websites to no avail. So if anyone reading this happens to find one…I’d be delighted to know about it (or pay you back if you so happen to want to buy it on the spot…)

So I think that’s all that’s been going on with us here in Tucson!!! Oh, 9 weeks left by the way!!!
