So on Thursday I had an interview in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital that I currently work at (UMC). I was called on Friday afternoon to be offered the job and I accepted it!!! So I will be working in the NICU at UMC as my very first nursing job out of school! I will be having to start nights which is the one bad thing but it makes sense that everyone that starts on that unit starts on nights. That's their policy and I understand. I will be making a 15% differential though for working nights which is pretty nice (yeah to 15% more per hour...). So I'm super excited to finally know that I've got a job!!! Yeah!!! New Grad orientation starts on July 20th. Yeah to getting a job!!!

BECKY! that's RAD! Congrats! how cool for you and your new family!
Congratulations, that's so exciting!! I have a cousin who works in a nicu in Utah and she loves it. She said there is nothing like watching a baby you've been nursing back to health go home in her mother's arms. You'll be awesome!
Way to go Becky!!
I would love to do NICU nursing. I'm so glad that things are working out. Now we just wanna meet little Lowe:)
