Cookie Monster

So during the last three days, much to Tyler's chagrin, I've been on a baking spree!!! I just really wanted to do the whole Christmas cookie making thing and thought there's no time better than now! Most of the cooking occured on Thursday and Friday while Lowe was nicely taking his naps!!! Yeah to the little boy taking two naps each day now almost all the time :)

This first picture is of the supplies I needed before I started baking. There are three grocery bags full of baking supplies, some disposable 9x13 pans, and some new cookies sheets I bought to help make the process go faster (4 cookie sheets work wonders especially when you can fit two in the oven at a time and not get burnt cookies!!!)

This is one after shot of my kitchen with the cookies and brownies and goodies in their respective containers while I make plate after plate to give away. I made 9 different types of goodies. Yes, I said 9. There were:

9x9 pan of Cheese Marbled Brownies (Yield: 36)
9 inch round pan of Fudge (Yield: 70)
9x13 pan Lemon Squares (Yield: 66)
9x13 pan Butterscotch Cranberry Brownies (Yield: 60)
72 Banana Spice Cookies
81 White Chocolate Cherry Shortbreads
75 Crispy Chocolate Chewies
65 Chocolate Crinkles
45 Christmas Sandies

And finally, a nice picture of each type of goodies that I made. Going from left to right starting in the top left hand corner: Chocolate Crinkle, Lemon Square, Cheese Marbled Brownie, Banana Spice Cookie, Fudge, Christmas Sandie, Butterscotch Cranberry Brownie, and White Chocolate Cherry Shortbread.

Woo Hoo to making tons of Christmas Goodies. Tyler agreed to go with me to deliver them so I wouldn't have to get Lowe out each time I stopped...we were out for 3 hours...with a very unhappy baby...He cried and yelled at us for about an hour because no matter what we did, he was not happy with us!!! So we had to stop and get some food and that made him a little happier and he finally fell asleep.
So sorry to those I wasn't able to take cookies to but all the recipes are up on my recipe blog: recipesfrombecky.blogspot.com
Merry Baking!!!

Dad wants to know if you are going to be bringing some up for us! They all look good, you did a great job! I guess I need to get started on my Christmas baking.

Tell dad I will be bringing up the ones that aren't given away or eaten by Tyler...which reminds me...I should be putting them in the freezer sometime soon if I want them to be good still by the time we come up there...
