Catch up...

wow...so i've been a really bad blogger...here are some pictures from Easter!!! Lowe really liked dying the eggs. he did spill one of the dyes...one out of 12 is good though in my opinion!

Lowe had this obsession with Tyler's guitar that i know i've mentioned before but here's another cute picture of him playing it.

I started a new job and it's been great so far. I'm working in a Level III NICU again and it's sooo nice to be back with the little tiny and sick babies...only a nicu nurse would understand why (in a sick kind of nursing way) it makes me so happy to be doing that!!!

In between chasing down Lowe and working 3 nights a week, i've decided to make everything for the new baby's nursery: quilt, 3 blankets, bumper pads, bed skirt, pillowcases for throw pillows, some storage bins, wall art to spell his name out, burp cloths, binky straps, etc. So here's a picture of all the supplies before:

So far, i've gotten two of the simple blankets done and two of the pillowcases. i'll get pictures of those up as soon as i take them! i also finished a twin/full size football quilt for lowe with matching throw pillows and a normal sized pillowcase for his big boy bed. we're doing the furniture musical chairs this weekend so he'll have his big boy bed by saturday!!! so we'll see if he actually sleeps in his big boy bed or if we'll have to set up the pack and play...no more crib after friday night, i want to get him out of it and not associate it with being his by the time we acutally put baby #2 in there...we'll see how that goes!

so lowe and i made this super adorable father's day gift. i got the idea from another blog (which i can't for the life of me remember which one) and lowe had fun helping me make it. now tyler's got something awesome to put at his desk at work! yeah to fathers!!! especially mine and lowes'!!!

Is there anything you aren't making for the baby or can I make and send a surprise?

Joanna-

I'm not sure if I'll get around to making a nursing cover or a carseat canopy... ;) but I love surprises too!!!
